woke up this morning and is praying for April, Patrick, Courtney, and Belle,

I got online today and saw the most saddening news....April lost

her daughter Tasha, I am so sorry for your loss April...If there is anything at all I myself or any of us

 xanga girls can do please please let us know

She needs a lot of support right now, let her know how much you are here for her

asking God to hold Tasha special tight....and April too

Natasha Lynn Griffus, age 6
Died April 1, 2009

Natasha Lynn Griffus, 6, of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Saginaw Covenant Healthcare. She had lived in West Branch and Houghton/Hancock. Natasha loved to play and do anything in the water. She also enjoyed music, school, her computer and TV. Natasha had such a joyful personality that she brightened and inspired anyone that ever met her.

Natasha is survived by her parents, Patrick and April Griffus of West Branch; grandparents, Rick Young of Rose City, Debbie Sharow of Lupton, Kimberly Young of Virginia Beach, Va., and William J. Griffus of Saginaw; great-grandparents, Bud and Wilma Young of Rose City, Earl and Kathleen Sohn of Rose City, and William A. and Sandy Griffus of Tawas; godmother, Courtney Russell of Plymouth; aunt, Cassidy Leitner of Virginia Beach, Va.; and uncle, William C. Griffus of Virginia Beach, Va. Also surviving are many great-aunts and great-uncles.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will take place Saturday, April 4, 2009, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Samuel Cottle will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
